COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II
With a light transmission of 47% for a solar factor of just 0.21, double glazing* with COOL-LITE ® XTREME 50/22 II has the best selectivity, ratio between natural light and transmitted solar energy ever. reached, 2.24.
Insulating glazing with COOLLITE ® XTREME 50/22 II is well suited to new tertiary projects or renovations with high energy performance. With their characteristics, they are generally installed:
- in canopies or roofs:
- in facades: largely glazed, facing south or west in hot and sunny climates or without additional external solar protection such as in facades of high-rise buildings (IGH).
The XTREME range is designed to provide specifiers with the best possible sun protection for a given light transmission.
Insulating glazing with COOL-LITE ® XTREME 50/22 II combines:
- a slightly reflective and neutral appearance, seen from the outside. The reflection seen from the inside is also neutral;
- very high solar protection (solar g factor of 0.21): reduction of costs due to the use and purchase of expensive air conditioning equipment;
- excellent thermal insulation (U g of 1.0 W/m 2 .K) to limit heating losses as much as possible.
All these characteristics make it possible to create largely glazed spaces, even on the roof, bright and open to the outside while remaining comfortable and energy efficient.
Handling and Processing
To achieve its performance and appearance, COOL-LITE ® XTREME 50/22 II must always be tempered and assembled in insulating glazing with the layer placed on face 2. Margining the layer is mandatory.
