More transparent and less absorbent, it limits architectural constraints and gives the designer more freedom.
Applications
PLANILUX ® is a clear float glass. It has enhanced aesthetic and optical qualities. It offers a wider variety of indoor applications:
- layout and decoration: doors, partitions, shower screens;
- furniture: tables, shelves, shelves.
Outdoors, it is found in all the usual uses of glass:
- windows and storefronts;
- double and triple glazing for the facades;
- urban furniture ;

Advantages
GREATER TRANSPARENCY
With a higher light transmission than traditional glass, PLANICLEAR® helps create clear interiors, especially when glass is used as a partition. The clarity of PLANICLEAR ® is particularly remarkable in thick, monolithic or laminated applications: partitions, interior doors, shower enclosures, shop windows, etc.
A SLIGHTLY BLUE SHADE
It’s very slightly bluish tint highlights the decorative elements: table tops, shelves, counters, etc.
BETTER COLOR RENDERING
Its transparency offers excellent color reproduction, which makes it ideal for shop windows (shops, museums, furniture, etc.). As it does not alter the colours, PLANICLEAR ® is perfect for the application of lacquers, enamels or concepts in white and pastel colours.
Handling and Processing
PLANILUX ® is also the base glass for glass processing:
- lacquered glass;
- enamelled or screen-printed glass;
- laminated glass, tempered;
- coated glass;
- etc
